Tom Who said you can’t have a grilled cheese sandwich and a cheeseburger at the same time? Certainly not Wendy’s Canada because they’re launching a new grilled cheese cheeseburger this month!
You won’t have to wait long to try this delicious new creation from Wendy’s Canada. The new grilled cheese cheeseburger launches nationwide on Monday May 19th.
If you’re a fan of cheese, this new burger has your name written all over it.

The Grilled Cheese Cheeseburger features a quarter pound of fresh, never frozen Canadian beef topped with caramelized onions, creamy mayo, and a melty cheese slice made with Canadian dairy, all served between even more cheese with two grilled cheese sandwiches as buns.
The idea of putting a cheeseburger in-between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches is one of the best ideas to come out of 2025 and I’m 100% here for it.
The addition of caramelized onions just puts this one over the top and makes it a must-buy for me. This is bound to be a fan favourite item while it’s here and I’ll be adding my review to this post and on social media next week.
Wendy’s Canada’s new grilled cheese cheeseburger is here for a limited time only so make sure you try it soon because you never know how long it will be available for.
Typically these limited time only menu items hang around for at least a few weeks, so you should have plenty of time to enjoy quite a few before it’s gone.
