The hot dog might just be the perfect ballpark food and there’s good news for Toronto Blue Jays fans because Loonie Dogs Night returns for the 2025 season!
Food at sporting events can often be expensive, so when Loonie Dogs Night first started it was a very welcomed sight for fans heading to Blue Jays games.
Regular hot dogs at the Rogers Centre could cost $10 or more, but with the popular Loonie Dogs Night promotion, you’ll pay just $1 per hot dog during these special games.

The Loonie Dogs night promotion is sponsored by Schneiders and will take place every Tuesday home game during the regular MLB season (minus Canada Day – July 1, 2025). At various concession stands around the Rogers Centre, you’ll be able to load up on the special $1 hot dogs.
Here’s the complete Loonie Dogs Night schedule for the 2025 Toronto Blue Jays season:
- April 1, 15, 29
- May 13, 20
- June 3, 17
- July 22
- August 12, 26
- September 9, 23
Keep in mind that Loonie Dogs Night hot dogs are smaller than the ones typically sold at the ballpark, but take that as a challenge to see how many you can eat during the game.
In 2024 a record 727,819 Loonie Dogs were sold. Will Blue Jays fans be able to beat that record in 2025? Only time will tell!

In addition to the $1 hot dogs, you’ll also find special activations around the ballpark including a Hot Dog Teeter Totter and special hot dog themed photo ops.
