Let me start off by saying that the Toronto Zoo is a wonderful place to visit year round. It offers a wealth of different exhibits and hundreds of different animal species to see. There’s a fun zoomobile you can take to zip around the different areas (extra fees apply), and in the summer there’s a large splash pad for the kids to cool off in.
You can view the ticket admission prices on the Toronto Zoo website and also the annual memberships which can save you a lot of money throughout the year if you visit often (as well as offering additional benefits including food discounts). Toronto residents can get free tickets to the Toronto Zoo through the Toronto Public Library tpl:map program.
If you’re looking for pizza, Pizza Pizza is the brand you’ll get at the Toronto Zoo. As with most attraction locations, you’ll have limited menu options, including toppings (cheese and pepperoni only).

As you probably expected, you’ll pay more for more menu items at the Toronto Zoo Pizza Pizza locations than you would at regular locations. While some menu prices are very elevated ($6.89 for a fountain pop is outrageous), the price of pizza is actually reasonable. $27.99 for an XL Pizza is $18 cheaper at the Toronto Zoo versus at Canada’s Wonderland.
Remember that you can bring your own food in with you when you visit the Toronto Zoo. Even just bringing in your own drinks could end up saving you a lot of money.
