Tom McDonald’s is a global brand and has country exclusive menu items available around the world. McDonald’s Canada’s latest limited time offering brings 6 exciting new food items to Canada as part of their International Menu Heist!
Starting on June 24th you can stop by your local McDonald’s Canada restaurant and try out the 6 new foods from the International Menu Heist campaign.
The new menu features popular items from Japan, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Australia and the UK.
Here’s the breakdown of McDonald’s Canada’s new International Menu Heist foods:
Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich (Japan): A breaded seasoned chicken patty, covered in a delicious, sweet and tangy teriyaki sauce, topped with shredded lettuce, mayo-style sauce and a sesame seed bun.
Big Rösti (Germany): A beautifully beefy burger, hickory-smoked bacon, melt-in-your-mouth processed cheese, delicious cheese sauce and the jewel in the bun: our golden “Rösti” hash brown. Served on a fluffy bun topped with rolled oats.
McPizza Bites (Italy): Made with melt-in-your-mouth mozzarella cheese and rich tomato sauce, all wrapped in a delicious, toasted pizza dough.
Biscoff® McFlurry (Belgium): Creamy vanilla soft serve swirled together with Biscoff® cookie crumbs.
Garlic Mayo-Style Sauce (UK): A UK favourite that’s perfect for dipping your McPizza Bites.
Sweet Tangy Chili Dip (Australia): The new Sweet Tangy Chili Dip has a sweet little kick that’ll give your McNuggets® extra zing and leave you asking for more.
Canadians will now get the chance to experience fun new foods from international locations without even needing to leave town.
My personal favourites from this new promotion are the Chicken Teriyaki Sandwich and McPizza Bites. Chicken teriyaki has been an all time fave food for me and I’ve been heartbroken since the McPizza left Canada, so the new McPizza Bites are very nostalgic for me.
As with all limited time offerings at McDonald’s Canada, these new menu items will be here for a limited time only. You should be able to enjoy these for at least 3 weeks but supplies could run out sooner.
I always recommend that people get out early and often to try new items as there’s never any guarantee for how long an item will be available.
