Tom [Updated: March 20, 2025] Full details of the McDonald’s x Minecraft Movie collaboration have been revealed.
Every so often McDonald’s Canada launches a fun new collaboration and their next one looks like it’ll be a blocky good one with Minecraft!
The McDonald’s Canada social media accounts just teased the upcoming Minecraft collaboration in a series of photos which obviously point to the popular video game franchise along with the date, April 1st.
The 3 photos showed off what appears to be a Big Mac sandwich, Fries, and a Drink in classic Minecraft form.
With the upcoming live action Minecraft movie starring Jason Momoa and Jack Black set to release in theatres on April 4th, the timing makes perfect sense. The teasers were also shared on the US and UK McDonald’s social media accounts so it looks like it’ll be available in select international locations as well.
Early leaked information via uknewestfoods on Instagram from the UK release seems to indicate that this new collaboration will include an adult meal as well as a kids Happy Meal, each with their own set of collectibles/toys. There may also be a Minecraft themed McFlurry and dipping sauce (Nether Flame Sauce).
What we end up getting in Canada is still a mystery, but all should be revealed by Tuesday April 1st if the date in the teaser ends up being true. I’ll be sure to share all the official news here once it launches.
