McDonald’s Canada is no stranger to new brand collaborations. In the past year alone we’ve seen new releases featuring Frank’s RedHot, The Grinch, and A Minecraft Movie just to name a few.
Their latest collaboration with OVO® might just be their most exciting to date.
If you’re not familiar with OVO®, they’re a popular lifestyle brand that sells clothing and accessories, and have released limited-edition collections with the NHL, Looney Tunes and others.
Partnering with McDonald’s Canada through this new collaboration with OVO® is already bringing international attention to the two brands through viral teasers being shared online over the past week.
What’s in the new McDonald’s collaboration?
Starting on February 17th you’ll be able to get The Afters Meal at participating McDonald’s locations across Canada.
The Afters Meal
- Choice of Junior Chicken or McDouble sandwich
- Regular size Poutine (excludes premium poutines)
- The Nite Sprite beverage
The Nite Sprite combines the crispy taste of Sprite with blue raspberry flavoured syrup for a refreshing drink that can be enjoyed both night or day. The best part? It’s served in a limited-edition McDonald’s x OVO® co-branded cup (medium size only).
For those of you hoping for an “Adult Happy Meal” type collectible with your meal, the limited-edition paper cup is the best you’ll get. McDonald’s similarly partnered with BTS back in 2021 which also had a collectible paper cup, and that collectible continues to be a highly sought after item for fans even today.
