Each month you’ll find an exciting new wave of Happy Meal toys at McDonald’s Canada. One of the most hyped Happy Meal collaborations of the past decade has been with Pokémon because of the extreme popularity of Pokémon TCG (Trading Card Game) cards that are included as the “toy”.

The latest Pokémon Happy Meal collaboration released the week of February 23rd in Canada and features Dragon-type Pokémon characters.
There are four specially designed Happy Meal boxes which not only look amazing, but will also be a hot collectors item themselves. The boxes feature Charizard, Pikachu & Dragonite together, Rayquaza, and Roaring Moon.
What’s Inside the Box?
As cool as the Happy Meal boxes are, and as you’d probably like to be seen yourself, it’s what’s on the inside that matters the most!

Each Pokémon Happy Meal toy includes the following items:
- Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) Booster Pack (includes 4 cards)
- Dual Sided Poster/Activity Sheet
- Stickers
There are 10 different Pokémon Happy Meal toys in total so it may take a while to catch collect them all.
How To Get Them
You get one toy included with each Happy Meal purchased and they’re typically $4.50-$5.00 each (pricing varies from store to store). You can choose from popular options such as Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Chicken McNugget, Chicken Snack Wrap, or Hotcake Happy Meals.

Each new Happy Meal release normally lasts for between 4-5 weeks however popular releases like this one often see restaurant locations run out of boxes and toys much sooner.
If you want the best chances of collecting the Pokémon cards you want, get out to McDonald’s Canada sooner rather than later! If you miss out, at least you can grab a ’95 McFlurry to celebrate the McFlurry’s and Toronto Raptors’ 30th anniversaries.
