Each year on the first day of spring, Dairy Queen Canada has been giving away small soft serve cones for free on what has become known as Free Cone Day. This year that day falls on March 20th.
It’s a wonderful way to try out the delicious soft serve at Dairy Queen without having to spend a cent, and to celebrate the return of the spring season. At my nearest Toronto area DQ, a small cone is regularly $4.19 so the savings are substantial.

To get this deal you’ll need to have the DQ app installed on your smartphone. The offer will appear within the app on March 20th.
It’s best to have the app installed and an account created ahead of time because sometimes offers are only available to accounts existing prior to the promotions start date.
