If you’re a baseball fan, one of the best days of the year is arguably Opening Day. If you’re not a baseball fan, chances are you love food and I have some good news for you because exciting new foods are coming to Rogers Centre for the Toronto Blue Jays 2025 season.
The first game of the new season starts on Thursday, March 27th as the Blue Jays take on the American League east rivals, the Baltimore Orioles. First pitch is at 3:07pm ET and limited tickets for the game are still available.

Now onto the good stuff, the food!
If you’ve never been to a game in a while (or ever), long gone are the days where you were limited to dull options like hot dogs, pizza slices, popcorn and peanuts. Don’t get me wrong, I still love all those things but who doesn’t love an elevated option of foods to choose from while catching a game!

Some of this years featured new offerings include Korean Fried Chicken Wings, Crunchy Pickle Hot Dogs, Plakata Skewers, and Cotton Candy Fries. Yes, you read that right. Cotton Candy Fries are a thing this year, and from trying it myself I can tell you that this weird combination actually works!
Today was media day at the Rogers Centre and the Blue Jays gave a sneak peek at all the new things to experience in 2025, including new food and drink offerings.
All the glorious looking foods were out on display in the brand new Club 328, located just down the 1st base line.
I skipped breakfast and let me tell you that I got VERY hungry the moment I stepped inside. There were so many delicious smells happening that made my stomach begin to rumble.
I felt like a kid in a candy store looking at all the delicious looking foods, but trying to sample everything was not a task I could finish!
While I did try more than half of the foods in the above photos, I decided to share my personal top 5 picks from everything I did try.
- Sweet and Spicy Korean Chicken Wings
- Crispy Pork Belly Baos
- Crunchy Pickle Hot Dog
- Smash Burger
- Cotton Candy Fries
If you’re looking for a few drink recommendations, the best two things I got to try were the Watermelon Frozen Margarita and the Night Mode Cocktail. The latter of which comes in this very cool shaker cup that you can mix up and becomes completely dark.

No matter what you like, there’s surely something new and tasty for you to try at the Rogers Centre this year. Also, don’t forget that Loonie Dogs Night is back again for the 2025 season and you can help smash last seasons record of 727,819 hot dogs eaten!
Something else worth looking into before deciding which game to go to is the Promotions Schedule. There are a lot of giveaway nights where you’ll get something upon entering the stadium (usually limited to the first 15,000 fans) and these can range from Bobbleheads, Replica Jerseys, Hats and more.

Most are available with a standard ticket however some giveaway items are tied to Specialty Tickets where you’re guaranteed the promotional item (e.g. the Hello Kitty x Blue Jays backpack).
