Jimmy It’s not everyday you get a flashback to your childhood but McDonald’s has done it in a major way with their new retro Collector’s Edition series of drinking glasses.
Released on August 13, 2024 in Canada, these limited edition glasses come in four different styles, each representing a different period of McDonald’s history. These are the different glasses you can collect:
Barbie + Hot Wheels
Hello Kitty + Snoopy
TY (Beanie Babies)
nanoblock (Grimace + Fries)
The first design available is Barbie + Hot Wheels with each new glass being released in subsequent order. Each Collector’s Edition glass will cost $3 and only be available with the purchase of an Extra Value Meal (combo).
The glasses are individually packed in a small cardboard box that features artwork inspired from the cup design inside.
Pro-tip: If you redeem McDonald’s My Rewards points for one of the eligible extra value meals, you’ll be able to add a Collector’s Edition cup without any additional points or money spent (at least not in my case).
McDonald’s continues to release amazing new limited edition food and collectible offerings and their Collector’s Edition glasses are one of my favorite’s of all time!
