Tom The lucky of the Irish is in full swing at Krispy Kreme Canada because they’ve just released brand new St. Patrick’s Day doughnuts!
While the Movie Snacks doughnuts from February were a big hit, I’m so excited about the new St. Patrick’s Day doughnuts that were released at Krispy Kreme Canada today.
They officially became available starting on March 10th (sorry Mario fans, you’ll have to wait another year for any possible Mario Day (Mar. 10) doughnuts at Krispy Kreme) and come in four exciting new flavours.
Just like last month, there are 4 new doughnuts as part of the limited time release. Here’s the details on each new flavour:
Pot of Gold Doughnut: Original Glazed doughnut dipped in golden caramel flavoured icing, topped with caramel flavoured buttercreme and gold coin glitter sprinkles.
Over the Rainbow Doughnut: Unglazed shell doughnut filled with cake batter flavoured KREME, dipped in light green icing and topped with shamrock rainbow sprinkles and a rainbow sugar piece.
Choco-Shenanigans Doughnut: Unglazed shell doughnut filled with white Kreme, dipped in chocolate icing and topped with green icing drizzles and gold coin glitter sprinkles
St. Patty’s Swirl Doughnut: Original Glazed doughnut dipped in white icing, swirled with green icing, and dipped in white and gold sanding sugar.
Personally speaking, I can’t get over how cute all the new doughnuts are, with my personal fave being the Over the Rainbow doughnut!
Whoever is in charge of coming up with the fun doughnut names and all the flavours/designs needs to be given a big raise.
