Shake Shack Canada Menu Prices

The long awaited launch of Shake Shack in Canada is here and if you’re wondering how much you’ll pay for their delicious burgers, here’s Shake Shack’s Canadian menu prices.

Shake Shack opened the doors to it’s very first Canadian location on June 13, 2024 to much fanfare. An internationally famous burger joint which was a fave spot for Canadians travelling to the US and abroad.

Often times as Canadians, we end up paying more when international businesses open up in Canada so everyone was speculating what the menu prices in Canada would be. Well now that they’re open, we have all the menu prices to share and they might just surprise you!

Here’s a sampling of the Canadian Shake Shack menu pricing:

  • ShackBurger (single) – $8.49
  • ShackBurger (double) – $12.49
  • SmokeShack (single) – $10.49
  • ‘Shroom Burger – $12.29
  • BLT – $6.99
  • ChickenShack – $9.49
  • Cheese Fries – $5.99
  • Hot Dog – $5.99
  • Chocolate Shake – $6.49

Shack Shack’s Canadian menu pricing is actually quite reasonable, especially when compared to competing quick service chains in Canada. For comparison, a Quarter Pounder with Cheese at McDonald’s costs between $7.00-$7.50 and an OG CHEESEBURGER at Burger’s Priest running $8.49, the same price as a ShakeShack ShackBurger.

One other surprise is that their menu is actually more affordable compared to their US menu (factoring in the exchange rate). Using the ShackBurger as an example which costs $8.49 in Canada, the same ShackBurger costs $6.79US ($9.33CAD) in Livonia, MI or a whopping $7.99US ($10.98CAD) in New York, NY. This means you’re actually getting the same food for less in Canada!

The first Canadian Shake Shack is location at 10 Dundas St E right in the heart of downtown Toronto and is the first of a planned 35 locations to be opened across Canada by 2035.

  1. There’s a terrible mistake in your Shake Shack article. You said there will be 35 restaurants opening by 2025. But I checked the press announcement at the link below, and the correct date is 2035. You are off by ten years.

    1. Thank you for the correction, Don! Hope they open up an Ottawa location for you sooner rather than later.
