Tom One of the best parts about summer at McDonald’s Canada is the return of Summer Drink Days. The next best? That’s Summer Treat Days!
Summer Treat Days is the name of the summertime promotion at McDonald’s Canada where you can get a great deal on many of their dessert menu items.
Originally it started with just $1 vanilla cones but then changed to include other treats including sundaes and milkshakes.
Summer Treat Days started on May 20th this year and runs until September 1st. Previously Summer Treat Days would start a few weeks after Summer Drink Days but I’m totally ok with their simultaneous May launch this year.
Summer Treat Day Deals:
- $1 Vanilla Cones (exclusive app offer)
- $2 Sundaes
- $2 Snack Size Milkshakes
Like previous years, you’ll need the McDonald’s Canada app to get the $1 Vanilla Cone deal. You can either place a mobile order or scan your MyMcDonald’s Rewards code when ordering in-restaurant or by providing your 4-digit code.
The $1 Vanilla Cone deal is an “offer”, so you won’t be able to combine it with any other offers you may have (including the $1 any size drink offer) so you won’t be able to get both deals at the same time.
I’ve heard rumours that McDonald’s will now only let you use 1 offer every 30 minutes, so the workaround of placing multiple orders with a different offer attached to each won’t work unless you plan on hanging around for a while.
The good news is that the $2 Sundaes and $2 Snack Size Milkshakes are not considered an offer, so you can combine those with any other offer you might have.
This is one of the most popular promotions McDonald’s runs each year and I couldn’t be more excited for it’s return in 2025.
Remember, you have until Labour Day to enjoy both Summer Treat Days and Summer Drink Days so have a safe and fun summer and enjoy all the cheap drinks and treats.
